Dr. Nick Horney founded Agility Consulting and Training in 2001 and has been recognized for many agility innovations including The Agile Model and VUCA Masters. He is a recognized expert in strategic agility, change management and leadership development by journals -- People & Strategy Journey, Chief Learning Officer and CIO Magazine.
Prior to forming Agility Consulting, Dr. Horney was Vice President of Client and Constituency Relations at The Center for Creative Leadership. His change management consulting experience spans over 30 years and includes the start-up and management of the Coopers & Lybrand Change Management Practice. Representative clients include Coca-Cola, Harrah’s Entertainment, Hanesbrands, Dell, Lenovo, Siemens, CIA, ARAMARK, John Deere, Valerus.
Dr. Horney’s first-hand knowledge of agility and change management was developed during his 23 years as a Navy Special Operations Officer leading diving, submarine salvage and explosive ordnance disposal teams. He retired from the U.S. Navy at the rank of Captain.
He received his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida.
Kim Ziprik, MS, PHR, SWP is Manager of Organizational Development for NASCO, a technology product and services provider for the Blue Cross & Blue Shield companies. She is responsible for creating the strategy and implementing processes and programs associated with talent development and performance management. Kim manages a team focused on organizational learning, leadership development and performance improvement. Most recently, she won a prestigious Brandon Hall Award for Best Advance in Competencies and Skill Development for a program she co-designed. Currently, she is designing and delivering a leadership program focused on helping leaders become more agile in a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) work environment.
Kim’s learning and performance improvement experience spans over 25 years and includes teaching OD and HR courses as an adjunct faculty member, consulting to organizations to design and develop learning and change management solutions and creating a training and development department from the ground-up. She holds a BA in Education, a MS in Organizational Leadership and certificates as a Professional HR (PHR) and Strategic Workforce Planner (SWP). She is an active local volunteer for Atlanta’s Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Association of Talent Development (ATD).
On the personal side, Kim enjoys boating, the beach and time with her family. She and her husband live in the NW suburbs of Atlanta and are the proud dog parents of new puppies, Hosford an 85-pound American bullador and Daisy an 82-pound Rhodesian ridgeback/hound mix.
Ryan Gibson, Associate Director, currently serves in AT&T College Recruiting as an Associate Director. He leads a team focused on college campus recruiting in the southeast, northeast and north central regions of the US.
Prior to his current role, Ryan led the Southeast Region’s Information Technology (IT) Technology Development Program called Emerging Technologies. He was responsible for not only recruiting top talent, but also coaching, guiding and mentoring the new employees. He had responsibility for both the full time and internship program for the southeast region.
In addition to his work at AT&T, Ryan is active on several engineering and computer science advisory committee groups at both Kennesaw State University and Georgia Southern University. In his free time, Ryan is an active volunteer at the Forsyth County Humane Society as well as the Feral Cat Program of Georgia.
Ann Raines Williamson, HR Director, GA DOR, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources for the Georgia Department of Revenue. She is regarded as an expert in the field of assessment and organizational development, and has been a frequent conference speaker for nearly 30 years. Ann has collaborated with hiring managers across the organization to develop customized and innovative solutions to recruitment and selection, developed leadership programs on a shoestring budget, initiated creative classification and compensation strategies, and established best practices in HR for her organization. Ann and her HR Team were awarded the SHRM-Atlanta Impact award at the April 2017 Conference.

To be eligible for a refund, all cancellation refund requests must be submitted via e-mail to email@example.com. Refunds will be issued within 30 days.
Can’t make it? Can someone from your office attend in your place? Transfers/Substitutions are allowed; however, the non-member rate may apply. To transfer your registration to another individual, you must submit your request via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bill Me Payment Selection
If you need to pay with a Check/Money Order - during check-out select Bill Me as the payment method, you will receive an email with a link to your invoice. Payment must be received within 10 days of the registration date, otherwise the registration is subject to cancellation, and registration discounts may no longer be available.Registrations received within 10 days of the August Power Breakfast with a Bill Me payment selection will not be accepted. Registration is not confirmed until payment is received by SHRM-Atlanta.
