Employee Engagement: Beyond the Survey
Annual research by Gallup highlights a disturbing fact. Employee engagement is low and has remained low for years. Over 70% of the workforce report that they are disengaged at work. A whopping 47% of millennial workers are disengaged and with 10,000 baby boomers retiring each day, the millennial generation is quickly becoming the dominant generation in the work force. Many companies have placed employee engagement at the top of their strategic people agenda however significant progress to move the needle has just not been made.
Larry Mohl, co-founder and CEO of jubi, inc., former Chief Learning Officer, and Adjunct Professor at the Georgia State University of J. Mack Robinson College of Business will discuss the state of employee engagement and look beyond the numbers to offer principles and practices that improve engagement and performance.
